There’s an old saying: tragedy plus time equals comedy. But what if you collapse time? What if tragedy and comedy exist simultaneously, every day, at high speed, in a never-ending scroll? The risk is that instead of tragedy becoming digestible, tragedy becomes trivial.
If everything is a joke, then nothing is serious. If nothing is serious, then why resist?
Laugh, mock, post, repeat.
Or, as you put it: clown or be clowned, while the devil takes the hindmost.
