''Thanks for posting. I feel the same way. I escaped from a violent home, as a young man to the military. Then left, battled with addiction problems. Very little support in UK. Looked on as “scum”. We are likely to die younger and experience more physical and mental ill health. And yet when we look at the root causes of domestic violence, poverty is one of them. Society (i.e. people living in it) doesn't care. And yet the same people will pretend to be principled. Apart from my close friends and family, no wonder I dislike people, generally''.


''Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry to hear all that you have gone through. When I was I'm my early twenties, my older sister suddenly died, after years of drug and alcohol abuse. She was only 29. We didn't share the same father, and later in life I learned how much she actually has suffered. Unfortunately people/society, especially the privileged who play life on easy mode, don't understand that other people can struggle with traumas, mental issues, illness. It sums up the ignorance of people. Everyone can fall or face a crisis. I also begin to feel some contempt for my fellow citizens, because of their coldness and selfishness''.
